    Steve Jobs - Apple

MobileMe ceases to exist, and these apps are now free.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

We built things we use for ourselves, so we get there.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

    And... no Ads

Then we have mail. It wasn't it good shape. We're giving you email account at me.com. Again, all your mail and folders are kept synced

    Steve Jobs - Apple

All your changes are pushed everywhere. You are going to love it.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

Lets say I share a few calendars with my Wife. It's automaticly pushed to her iPhone when I update. If she adds appointement for soccer game, goes over the cloud and back to my iPhone

    Steve Jobs - Apple

Calendars works in the same way. It's just pusehd to all my devices. Then, we added calendar sharing

    Steve Jobs - Apple

The truth is in the cloud

    Steve Jobs - Apple

Just add a contact, and it's in the cloud. Then it's pushed to all my devices. Just update a contact on my iPhone and I don't even think about it.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

We've thrown them away, and rearchitected to make them all cloud apps.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

It wasn't our finest era. But we learned a lot. The three core apps in MobileMe were contacts, calendar and mail.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

You might ask, why should I believe them. They are the ones who brought me MobileMe?

    Steve Jobs - Apple

Everything is automatically, and there is nothingi new to learn. It just works

    Steve Jobs - Apple

We think it'is way more than that. And we call it iCloud. iCloud stores your content in the cloud, and wirelessly pushes it to your devices. Also, it's completely integrated with your apps.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

You just use dropbox, iDisk and it stores.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

Now some people think the Cloud is just a hard disk in the sky

    Steve Jobs - Apple

They all have connectivity, so these devices can talk to the cloud

    Steve Jobs - Apple

What we have here is our next insight. we're gonna demote the pc and mac to simple clients. And move all this stuff into the cloud

    Steve Jobs - Apple

Keeping all this in sync was driving us crazy

    Steve Jobs - Apple

So if I acquire a song, I wanna get that to my other devices. My iPad doesn't have that song on it. So I have to sync my iPhone to my mac and then my mac to my iPad.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

It has broken down over the last few years, cause devices have changes. They now all have music, photos, videos.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

You just sync to the Mac, and it worked fine.

    Steve Jobs - Apple

About 10 years ago, we had the most important insight. The PC was gonna be the digital hub for your digital life. That's where you're gonna put your digital life, photos, videos, music

    Steve Jobs - Apple

Ok, I'll try not to blow it. I get to talk about iCloud

    Steve Jobs - Apple

So, you like everything so far
